Who can apply?

• Applicants are welcome from Service Provider related exhibition in Thailand (Can be Public and Trade Show). Please only complete the sections that relate to your service provider.
• The company must be registered in Thailand.

What is considered?

• Eligible applicants are asked to describe how their service some or all the following five criteria (described in more detail below): Minimizing environmental impact, Commitment to change, Commitment to conservation, Economic indicators and full stream pattern of Green Trade show in the future

What is awarded?

• The winner of Go Green Exhibition Industry Award 2010 will be recognized and received the prize at the Dinner Forum in November, in the TCEB newsletter and TCEB website at the TCEB Corporate Responsibility

What do I need to submit? (To be evaluated nominations must include)

• Signed and completed application form
• Summary narrative of how your service meets one or all of the five criteria listed below. Please only complete the criteria section that relates to your service, the completion of all sections in not a requirement for entry. The criteria can be completed on this form or if you require extra space they can be completed on no more than four double-sided pages, including any associated tables, photos and charts. Each of the five criteria must be addressed and labeled accordingly in the submission.
• Attachments (optional). To minimize paper consumption applicants are encouraged to provide only those attachments that are essential to support their narrative. Supporting information may be requested during the verification process.

How will the award be judged?

• The judging list (TCEB, TEA, TICA, TEI and UFI) will select top exhibition service provider (dependent on the quality of applications) making the decision based on the information supplied in the application form.

• Commitment to conservation (20%)
• Economic indicators (20%)
• Full stream pattern of Green Trade show in the future (20%)

Award Criteria

Your organization must provide examples of how your service specifically meets the following criteria; Applicants are encouraged to review the Green Meeting, particularly the section on Exhibition production, for specific practices that may contribute to meeting the Award criteria (http://www.greenmeetingthailand.com). Please complete all the criteria that related with your service.

• Applicants should demonstrate innovative efforts to significantly minimize the environmental impacts of their service.

Were there any economic indicators linked to your service?

• In this section applicants should demonstrate the economic impact and/or cost savings associated with their green service, in addition to environmental benefits.

Does your service, in any way, help towards commitment to change and the community?

• In this section applications should demonstrate any management and staff commitment to environmental programmes or practices. This can be shown through development of environmental policies, task forces, or teams, training and communication of green practices to staff/clients/public. Please also include any other environmental awards or recognition received.

• Applicants should demonstrate willingness and/or efforts to integrate green programmes or practices with other business (i.e. meeting planners and other suppliers) and the local community (i.e. through buying locally). This may include providing a donation to conservation/community organizations, support of local suppliers by purchasing gifts or giveaways locally, or participation in an environment or community project as part of the service.

Does your company have any policies in general towards commitment to conservation?

• In addition to minimizing environmental impacts of the service, the applicants should demonstrate a positive impact to conservation in general. This may include providing a positive contribution to natural areas in their own community.
